TILE
If you currently have tile, you know just how long lasting it is. It maybe that you still have that old tile from the 60's and are tired of looking at it. Or just ready for a new fresh look. If your looking to replace your tile with tile we can come in and tear out the old tile and replace it with a new fresh design and color. Or Maybe you are wanting to change it to hardwood floors, another great option. Then there is the option to just come in and cover it up with linoleum or vinyl flooring. Things to consider before you decied on your next floor...
What is under your tile? Is it an old floor or a newer one? If your tile wasn't set right it may have cracked and before new tile is laid it will need concret board which will raise the height of your floor. Is your floor level? Are you wanting to match your floor with your walls or counter tops? Even though ceramic is strong, there is still the opportunity for breakage, as with any tile. When a breakage does occur, repairing tile is far simpler than replacing the whole floor or fixing hardwood or plank flooring. Completing tile repairs typically takes less time than repairing a wood floor, or even a composite flooring surface.
Keep in mind while no floor remains entirely maintenance free, ceramic tile comes about as close at it can to being service free. Short of the application of the occasional sealant, applied once every four years or so, tile requires only the regular cleaning that any flooring surface would require. With the installation of grout tile becomes almost impervious to water damage, and can be virtually hosed off if necessary. Many specialty products are currently available that assist greatly in tile maintenance and upkeep, all of which can be found in nearly any home goods provider or supermarket.
