We install Unfinished hardwood floors as well as Factory Finished Wood Flooring from Solid to Engineered hardwood Floors....  We do it all.   When it comes to picking out what material you want to put down we can help.  Every kind of wood comes in several grades or quality normally.  The top grade or known as Select grade, indicates clear, knot-free wood with uniform grain texture, and mild color variations.   Some wood types will even carry FAS and F1F Grades.  Lower grades include common #1, #2 or also known as builder grade. In these grades you may find a less uniform color and some small knots.   But it should be kept in mind that even low grades of wood can make an attractive and durable floor, giving you more character and homey feeling.  Plus they're often less expensive.
